Whooooa! That's REALLY scary. I like that the picture tells a story, too! Lots of people just stick Slender Man into an empty landscape shot, which is spooky, but not as much as it could be.
I think if he was just a head taller, it would be 100% scarier. You can't really see his feet anyway, so you could probably just pose on some dark-colored blocks without having worry about stilts/longer dress pants.
Thank you, that's very nice of you to say, I've been using making pictures of Slendy in Photoshop for the early ones. But lately I've actually been dressing up and doing the finishing touches, and making it look all nice in Photoshop. That mannequin idea is great. I'll have to invest in a tall slender one for the future.
But hey i'm really glad you like them, they're a lot of fun to do. Expect many, many more my friend!
Well, I love them. Smart idea, though, to just edit in photoshop. Makes them a little more...realistic? Yes? I don't know if that's the right way to phrase it.
Can I make a few small critiques, though? Nothing really relevant, just something that I've seen in this specific pic: the pants are just a little too light. More gray than black. Why does this bother me when I can't even match my socks? I dunno. >.<
And red tie. Also, no idea why it bugs me. It doesn't hurt the picture at all, or take away from the effect. I just always pictured him with a black tie. And you may not have one, and I could just shut up now.
I seriously can't wait to see what you come up with next, though. I'm now going to be checking my in-box every chance I get!
Wow you have good eyes. Those were gray jeans, I didn't think anyone would see lol. I wanted to wear dress pants, but there was still snow on the ground and I didn't want to ruin my only pair. As for the tie, I agree I'd like him to have a black one as well. sadly, due to the fact that I don't own one, the conversion will have to go on hiatus.
I always appreciate people critiquing my art. I'd rather people say their opinion then spare my measly feelings. And it's a great way to get better. So I thank you.
I hope to fill yours, and many other peoples in-boxes with Slendy as often as I can.
